With a simple bit of software, Dash Chang has apparently secured the last few feet of wi-fi connections.

One problem remains however: most people don't realize they need it.

Chang, an entrepreneur who was instrumental in the development of the first spreadsheet while a student at MIT, has launched a new company called AeON Wireless Inc. Its mission is to make public wi-fi secure from attackers.
